What makes a Muslim proud is his identity. Where does our identity lie today? Does it lie in the best of Islam's interest or does it lie in the best of interest of our egos and desires? Do we take pride in keeping our gardens clean, our mosques appealing both to the young and old, or do our gardens look like dump yards and does the shoe area in our local mosque have a bad odour? The lecture points out negative aspects found in the practices of certain Muslims that often leads to a person walking away from Islam and also points out positive aspects that will create generations of Muslims who are proud of their identity.
