ABOUT THE BOOK: This is a small booklet concerning the fundamental precepts of Ahlus-Sunnah wal Jamaa'ah with regard to their beliefs and creed; each issue being presented to the reader in a clear, point by point form. The author prepared this booklet in response to the request of many students of knowledge, as well as the general Muslims, who expressed the need for a clear, yet concise presentation of the fundamentals of the creed of the Pious Predecessors. It is for this reason that this presentation is free from the details, definitions, evidences, names of personalities, quotations and footnotes that are quite often necessary for something of this nature. ADAPTED FROM THE AUTHOR'S INTRODUCTION ABOUT THE AUTHOR: He is Naasir ibn 'Abdul-Kareem al'Aql. He was born in al-Qaseem; Saudia Arabia, in the year I37IH (I95ICE). His teachers include: Shaykh Saalih ibn Ibraaheem al-Bahlee, Shaykh Saalih al-Fawzaan, Shaykh 'Abdullaah ibn Jibreen and Shaykh 'Abdul-'Azeez aalushShaykh. He completed his masters degree and Ph.D in the field of beliefs ('aqeedah) and contemporary sects and thoughts, and is currently teaching in the faculty of UsooludDeen at Muhammad ibn Sa'ud University, in Riyaadh.
